Joshua Vides has recently come to our attention thanks to his Instagram account, where he specializes in making real-life objects look like sketches by painting them white and drawing on them with sharpies.
Vides has done this with street signs, basketball hoops, and porta potties, however, it’s his work with sneakers that has really caught our eye.
The effect the contrast between the white base and black sharpie lines has creates the illusion that the objects were photoshopped into the shot, rather than just customized by hand.
