Description
While OG sneakerheads may be fatigued seeing this color combination, you’ve got to tip your hat to Nike for switching it up and modifying its construction. Instead of applying the usual smooth leather, Swoosh designers forge the solid black overlays and the angelic toe boxes, quarter panels, tongues and collars with canvas. However, the side panel Swoosh logos still retain their leather textures. Nike Sportswear logos appear on the tongues and heels, both of which are crafted with bright white finishes.
Given the versatility of “Panda” Dunks, it’s understandable why they continue to be such a strong seller for the Beaverton-based sportswear company. And quite frankly, it seems that Nike is going to keep running with the “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mantra for as long as it can with this motif.
