During Air Max Day 2023, Nike Sportswear brought back the popular “Big Bubble” Air Max 1 to celebrate the annual holiday. The shoe was part of the original production run in 1986, before the Air Max 1 made its debut in 1987.

Dressed in a Smokey Mauve and Dark Team Red color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Max 1 comes constructed in a mix of mesh on the toe box, nylon along the collar and tongues with a suede-felt material used on the overlays, mudguards, and Swooshes. Signature “Nike” branding on the tongue labels, insoles, and heel embroidery with the longer visible Air unit in the heel atop a Dark Team Red rubber outsole completes the design.
