Description
The “Tianjin” Nike Air Foamposite One debuted back in 2015 as nod to the basketball culture in the Chinese metropolis. The colors used on this Foamposite reflects the long history of Tianjin, Tianjin Yangliuqing folk culture and Tianjin features. It features graphics that reference the cultural heritage of that city, and of China.
In 2018, Nike dropped the “Lunar New Year” edition that incorporates motifs from Chinese culture, such as fireworks, cranes, and flowers. It comes with floral illustration on the tongues replacing the traditional “1 Cent” logo.
