Description
the neo-futuristic design appeared in an autumn-friendly “Black” and “Castlerock” color combination. The majority of the shoe’s upper, which draws inspiration from performance-running models of the past, indulges in dark shades of the aforementioned tones, allowing for the New Balance 860v2-informed cushioning solution underfoot to revel in a predominantly greyscale finish. New Balance-branding on the tops of the tongue deviate from their surroundings in vibrant red flair, a design choice that also lands on the diamond-shaped traction detail underfoot. As the 90/60’s co-designer has gone on record having said, the sneaker’s look is “dramatic,” refreshing given the century-old company’s once-widespread reputation as boring.
