Description
For this on-court take, the Jordan Brand team drew parallels between Ailun’s fast-paced style of play and the Blue Morpho Butterfly — an insect widely known for its long wingspan, iridescent body and speed. Leather overlays that rest across the mid-foot in addition to the arched netting are both given a colorless aesthetic, and this allows the vibrant accents that fall up top and down below to overtly stand out. Tongues are given an iridescent shimmer and arrive next to solid black ankle collars and two-toned flecked laces whose accents scream with a bright teal.
The background of the aggressively styled Eclipse plate matches that of the hits on the shoe strings, and even sports a gradience of brighter hues towards the bottom before eventually meeting its nurse scrub-green treading. Furthermore, tongues split between the Jumpman logo on the left side and a “G” on the right, while the heel tabs embroider in bold red Chinese characters.
