Description
Focusing on the shade of blue, the upper is a combination that stretches from light blue suedes to a dark teal mesh. The 3M hits remain present, a detail that Bronson himself admitted to loving in his GQ Sneaker Collection interview, where old-school photos of him stunting in the NB 992 did more than back up his claim. The new breathability of the NB 990v6 update arrives via the teal mesh underlay, with a similarly coloured suede mudguard wrapped around the bottom portion of the shoe. The Work Boot-laces nod to the artist’s time spent as a labourer, a detail that he has declared must remain unchanged as the shoe is perfect straight out of the box. Compared to the constant customisable options that releases come with today, this is certainly a refreshing take. A beige midsole echoes the former “Multi” release with its cobalt blue accent, complementing the complex panelling above with its understated hue. Bronson includes a gum outsole as a final chef’s kiss, making sure every sneakerhead has added this second collaboration to their wish list.
